You can record either with the camera app or by recording your screen. In both cases, upload the video to OneDrive → Recordings, and YakShaver will automatically process it.
Open the Camera app → switch to Video mode.
Tap Record and capture your YakShave.
Your video will be saved in your phone’s Photos/Gallery app.
Open the saved video → Share/Upload to OneDrive → Recordings.
YakShaver will automatically pick up the video and update you on Teams.
Option 2: Record your mobile screen
2A: Screen recording on Android
Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the Quick Settings and click on the Screen Record button. If you can't find it, you may have to add it there.
Before starting the recording, be sure to select Record this screen and tick Record audio and Show touches on screen.
Record your YakShave.
Upload it to your OneDrive Recordings folder. YakShaver will pick it up automatically.
Then your Shave will be created…
2B: Screen recording on iOS
Swipe down from the top-right corner to open the Control Center and click on the Start Screen Recording button. If you can't find it, you may have to add it there.
Turn on Microphone Audio by long-pressing the record button in the control center
Record your YakShave.
Upload it to your OneDrive Recordings folder. YakShaver will pick it up automatically.
Then your Shave will be created…
Option 3: Use Microsoft Teams mobile app
Provided that you have already set up Microsoft Teams, you can use the mobile Teams app to record a YakShave
Open Teams on your mobile phone
Go to YakShaver, type “on” to allow YakShaver to pick up recorded videos
Go to the Calendar tab and click on the meeting icon on the top-right corner
Start a meeting and share your screen
Record your YakShave
Upload it to your OneDrive Recordings folder. YakShaver will pick it up automatically
Then your Shave will be created…
